User Administration in finPOWER Connect Cloud
finPOWER Connect Cloud has the ability to add and edit Users.
This includes re-enabling locked out Users and duplicating an existing User to create a new User.
finPOWER Connect Web Services Administration and Pooling Enhancements
With version 3.01.05, Web Services and the corresponding Web Administration facility have been enhanced.
This provides a simpler interface and more powerful tools for monitoring Web Services.

Custom Database Indexes
Intersoft Systems tries to ensure finPOWER Connect provides the best possible performance for the majority of its Users. However, it is impossible to pro-actively ensure every combination of usage is best catered for. Therefore, there may be instances where adding custom indexes to finPOWER Connect will further improve performance.
Note, there are always performance trade-offs when adding custom indexes. For instance, creating an index to improve performance in one area could impair performance in another, e.g. when inserting or updating data into the database.
This blog provides some rules around adding custom indexes.

Centrix Client Monitoring Service
What is it?
The Centrix Monitoring service is like having your own staff member in Centrix monitoring your clients. Each time something happens to one of your clients, Centrix sends you an email detailing the changes and alerting you to the change in your client’s status. This is great for keeping track of your clients, getting ahead of the collections process and giving you greater visibility over your client base. You can receive e-mail notifications on a monitored client for the following events:

Business Layer Training - Querying the finPOWER Connect Database
This Business Layer training session is broken in to two parts, looking at the different ways to query the finPOWER Connect Database. Part 1 covers the Run Query utility and how it can be used to load/save frequently used queries in finPOWER Connect, as well as starting to explore the ISSelectQueryBuilder Business Layer object. Part 2 further delves into the Query Builder and looks at ways to implement it in a finPOWER Connect Script. We also cover topics such as Scalar Queries and converting XML stored in the database into Business Layer objects without needing to load Account/Client etc.. objects.
