finPOWER Connect 6.00.02 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of finPOWER Connect version 6.00.02.

The Version 6 product line of finPOWER Connect marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the platform, with a primary focus on a substantial technology upgrade. The core advancement in this release is the migration from the .NET Framework to .NET 9, aligning the software with the latest Microsoft technologies for improved performance, scalability, and long-term support.

Overall, finPOWER Connect Version 6 represents a strategic step forward, ensuring the platform continues to meet the dynamic needs of the finance and lending industry through modern architecture and ongoing innovation.     • The Document Manager module has been deprecated and is now part of the finPOWER Connect base system.
    • Email system overhaul.
      • Email configuration has been moved from Global Settings to Cost Centres, and has been significantly simplified.
      • Improved Microsoft Exchange EntraID support.
    • finPOWER Connect Cloud Configuration.
      • As part of a major update to the finPOWER Connect Cloud User Interface, the ability has been added to configure more colours.
  • Scripting
    • New functionality to compress (zip) and uncompress (unzip) a String.
    • Developer Preferences; Syntax Error grid now hidden by default.
  • HTML Widgets
    • User Interface overhaul.
    • Extended client-side calls to have a 5 minute timeouts.
  • Credit Enquiry
    • Centrix
      • Centrix Security Enquiry; Wheels product updated with MotorWeb Valuation in the HTML Widget.
    • GreenId
      • Background Check; Driver Licence Card Number is now mandatory.
      • An option to specify a default product has been added to Cost Centres.
  • Electronic Signatures
    • DocuSign
      • Date Signed tabs now supported.
  • Banking Interfaces
    • Monoova Australia
      • Added Credit Card Payments integration.
  • finPOWER Connect Cloud
    • User Interface overhaul.
    • Addition of 'dark mode' (beta).
  • Web Services
    • Performance enhancement - A single User can now only tie up a maximum of 3 business layers from the pool.
    • Improved logging of HTML Widget Background Process Token Errors.
    • Temporary folder is no longer session-based; Now shared between all Web Services business layer instances.
